i am 20 years old. I have wanted to join for a long time now. I am doing some upgrading right now so i meet the requirments to join. I am wanting to go into the infantry at 1st to see how its really like. I have couple questions for you guys.
When in basic do you have time to pay bills and do you get paid in basic? what about a pet?
also having a girl friend after basic are you aloud to live off base or can you live on base with a wife or girl friend?
also, just wondering what are the odds of getting deployed. i know canada is not hard core fighters like the u.s we are more peace keeping? does canadian soldiers do a lot of work overseas?
What is a typical day of a infantry soldier in his career on his own soul vs overseas.
