Now i know that i probably won't have the time to use it. However, it's my baby and I'd like to have it around, just in the case that i do have time.
Does anyone know if that would be allowed?

Personal kit, as long as you can store it in the space provided, is allowed, as long as it is not some form of contraban.

Why would you bring it tho, no-one else will have anything of the sort, and it takes up too much room that could have other more important things in.

Thanks for the responce,
I don't necessarily need someone to catch with, a brick wall works just as well, but even more so its become a relaxing tool for me just to fiddle around with the ball and the stick.
I haven't heard anything about this personal pack, but I'm sure i will soon enough.

hmm, on this note maybe we should get some feedback about what personal kit people have/want/will bring?

there is a thread on kit, and what is included,  plus some recommended gear.

but i'm interested in what people will be bringing or what we are allowed to bring.

i havent even thought about it yet...

A Lacrosse stick is a rather large item to want to bring on BMQ. I wouldn't recommend taking it along, unless you're prepared to lose it. If you pack it in your duffel, there's a good chance it will get smashed around and broken. If your instructors see it, they could confiscate it and get you in trouble. If you want to risk it, it's your choice, but I certainly wouldn't. I highly doubt you'll have the time to use it. I brought a book on my basic, and never got the opportunity to pick it up in 6 weeks.

As far as what you bring on BMQ; make it as minimal as possible. A few changes of civvy clothes, maybe some writing paper and a book, an alarm clock, some money and that's about it. To give you and idea of what I'm talking about:

1. On my basic, some kid brough a discman and it was stolen. Another kid brought a stereo and it got confiscated by the staff.
2. On my QL3s, a girl wanted to do some studying for university and brough about 10 university textbooks. They were large, heavy and cumbersome. She had to have others carry the bag for her because it was so heavy, and constantly got in $hit because she had no space to store them, and so they were always out. Consequently, she never had the time to open them other than the one weekend off where she chose to stay in the shacks rather than going anywhere. It was a complete waste of time and effort.

Keep that in mind before you pack anything you absolutely don't need. You have enough kit to bring already!

I thought the QL3 continue everyday (not like the winter reserve BMQ).... how can she still have time to study?!

The QL3 does go everyday, which is why I mentioned she didn't have time to study, and only opened a book on our one weekend off, which is what made her a stupid bint for bringing the books in the first place.

I'd advise not to bring anything too personal or expensive. I'd say don't bring credit cards or too much cash. Even if you think that you can trust everybody there always is a thief and you'd be surprised to see what kind of stuff gets stolen.
