One day someone will pay dearly for allowing these asshats to steal willy nilly. Vigilantism may actually become a thing.Well, their policies are that their staff are not allowed to intervene in a theft. From what I understand, it many cases they won't even bother to report it to the police.
While I could understand that their might be liability issues with intervening, not reporting a visible theft should be a disciplinary action in itself. With the advent of good quality video and ability to have the relevant video timestamped and released to police easily, that should be the SOP. Also allows management to track thefts and decide where to put in more deterrence's.Well, their policies are that their staff are not allowed to intervene in a theft. Seems to be an ongoing problem.
