This recently wrapped-up (testimony, not verdict/sentencing yet) case is NOT going to do same-sex couple adoption advocates any favours, even if there are evil heterosexual couples out there, too.

What kind of evil give a child hope with adoption and then does this ?
I know where my monsters lay and what I am capable of, but everything is off the books when you go after kids.
We really need gallows and public execution back.

Airforce sergeant ties herself to a chair in a restricted area she doesn't have clearence for because she couldnt have her gender changed on records then gets upset military police used force to remove her when she refused to leave. Also kicked and bit police. Very normal behavior.

I mean… I have questions. I hope they didn’t use the taser as a ‘come-along’ or compliance tool.
But any MP conduct or choices aside, that Sgt is also phenomenally dumb.

Are police not allowed to do that?
I can’t speak for every police service, but with mine the threshold for taser use is “imminent bodily harm”. It’s still not a high threshold; if you reasonably think someone’s about to strike you you’re probably able to articulate it easily; ‘bodily harm’ can be very inclusive. But it’s not to be used as a compliance tool merely for someone who’s resistant. Basically you’d better be in a position to charge that person with assault or at least credible uttering threats before you spark up.
Maybe MPs have a lower threshold. Also MPs should consider body cams.

Oh, yeah looks like 3 assault charges.
Right. Very valid point. Though by the same token the same likely applies to the police radios and their phones.

Just judging by the testimony at the Court Martial so far, I can tell there is much, much more yet to come out…
