Thr Conservative Party seems to be completely compromised with MAGA and Russian info ops. We have one of the most secure election systems on Earth and there is no evidence of fraud but yet, here we are with them being spoonfed to believe there was some sort of fraud, very MAGA indeed.

It's trolling. There is blood in the water with Poilievre and they're trying to make a point. They've been around for a while and have targeted Liberals and Conservatives alike.

Personally I agree with them that we need electoral reform bad but I think it's a dumb method. That said, it's a legal protest and if they're following electoral rule, it's their right to do so.

I'll leave it to others to parse in detail, but here's the broad strokes from the Criminal Code ....

Probably since it doesn't meet the threshold for treason outlined in the CCC and the SCC basically made it legal for a province to pursue secession.

How about this country does better as a whole instead of push provinces to the brink? Let's start there.

Read up above a few threads of the history of these guys. They have pretty much been doing this in every by election since 2021 (ie before PP was leader).

They targeted Freeland and PP last election because they were high profile candidates.

This next by election is the only by election coming up and it’s a high profile candidate.

It’s attention seeking and trolling. Of course it’s targeted but not the way you think it is.
