A 38-year-old man is facing more than 150 charges in connection with 72 break-ins across Brampton and Mississauga, Peel Regional Police say.
The spree of break-ins happened from April through September, police said in a release on Thursday, with the alleged crimes occurring at commercial and office buildings.
Daniel Irvine, of no fixed address, is facing 157 charges, including 30 counts of break, enter and commit indictable offence and 50 counts of bench warrants for break and enter related charges.
Const. Tyler Bell-Morena confirmed to CTV News Toronto that Irvine was previously arrested in June after several offices and commercial buildings were broken into in Brampton. These incidents occurred from February to May.
“He was released on bail by the courts then and has been released again,” Bell-Morena said, adding Irvine is also a suspect for “numerous” break-ins in Halton and York regions.

Sounds like the open door portion of the meeting went well?
And people wonder why the provincial government has school boards in their crosshairs. Not sure where to put this one - but I'm sickened by the actions of the teachers of the Toronto District School Board and their union.
To chose the date of Oct 7th to do this was 100% intentional by the teachers who made this decision and what is worse is that nothing will happen to them as their union and its leadership will fully support them and attempt to justify their actions.

Gee did Arabic get added to the official languages act while I was asleep? call me old fashion but being the national anthem, it should only ever be played in the official languages of our nation, full stop. While we are at it, can the army stop teaching leadership like its black and white, and instead teach how discover ones own leadership style? The politicization of our educational institutions is sickening. Stop teaching my kid what to think, and keep to teaching them how to think.
While we are at it, can the army stop teaching leadership like its black and white, and instead teach how discover ones own leadership style?
Best leadership book I ever read was "The Three meter zone" by by former US army command Sgt Major J. D. Pendry, in it he talks about leadership but gives examples of poor leadership (ie management) and thought exercises on how to discover your own personal leadership style and what works best for you as a individual. It's fantasticLeadership cant be taught... period We often miss identify management as leadership.
The best we can do is sharpen or hone existing characteristics of our people. What we need to get better at is talent identification and development.

Canada is next to the U.S. and Canada should acknowledge and understand that “America is first, and Canada can be second,” Lutnick said, according to the sources.
But Ottawa should leverage Canada’s geographical proximity to the U.S., he said.
“Car assembly is going to be in America and there is nothing Canada can do about it. The question is, what is Canada going to do instead?” one source quoted Lutnick as saying.
Or... maybe reach out to Europe. The people we don't expect to at war with in the next decade or so...![]()

Again, if this is the US stance, call China, repurpose Ford, GM auto assembly plants, and build BYD cars here.
