It baffles me when we are told, hey, be better than Reddit, there are other places for that kind of talk, and then here we are posting about where Carney's adult kids go to school, and bring up arguments not a single person made here about Harper and his kids as if it makes it fair play.

It's not about making it fair play. It's about reminding people who claim to want a better politics that it is up to the people who claim to want a better politics to make all the first moves in tone and content. Obviously the Trumps and incorrigible rednecks aren't going to move first. Who does that leave? You, I suppose.
