Trudeau was open communication, trust people to do their job and gave them a thousand chances if they came up short.

Carney yelling that he needs solutions, and for MPs to do their jobs.

Weird dichotomy that i think Carney wont last as long as Trudeau but get a lot more done while he's PM.

Carney is an adult compared to Trudeau. He yells - so the F&ck what. How much was actually achieved under Trudeau? Carney is not there to hold your hand and nod sympathetically that you’re stressed and your feelings are hurt. MPs and Cabinet Ministers male massive amounts of money compared to 90+% of the rest of CDN society- the expectation is that you are capable, require minimum direction and guidance and should be a ‘doer’ right from the get go.
That is how the CEO of a Fortune 500 company surrounds themselves with their leadership team and expects 125% effort all the time - day in and day out. It’s certainly what I expect of my PM, my Federal Government and my MP.

I'm not going to say which approach is more effective, what I will say is Carney will rub a lot of MPs the wrong way in contrast to Trudeau who held his caucus together until the very end.

I kind of agree with your view point. The Liberals needed him badly to save their party...but are not willing to pay the true price of having a no nonsense PM in charge.

The LPC are very happy that they are where they are. They were facing a wipeout.

But if Carney is yelling at MPs and instituting a top down kind of approach when MPs are used to the bottom up approach Trudeau put in place, it wont take long for the knives to come out if Carney isn't in as secure a position.

He held his caucus together because his bloody standards and expectations were so incredibly low.

Possible - but if so it will be the lowly incompetent jealous ones left behind who band together because they don’t have the intelligence or the backbone to move on their own.
