You're arguing process while ignoring accountability here. Bills still pass through the required stages.Closed door debates still means it happens, bills still need to pass 3 readings and committee, I havent seen the liberals shut down everything on a single bill to ram it though. Ive also seen the CPC claim committee meetings were shut down when the official schedule shows there was never a meeting in the first place. If they want to demand transparency, they should start with them selves.
That doesn't justify moving debate behind closed doors or blocking scrutiny. The Conservatives did X isn't a defence of Liberal secrecy. Transparency should apply no matter which party is in power. The Liberal government is attacking transparency, meanwhile Canadians are too busy worrying about Poilievre to even feign interest.
It's a Liberal majority (obtained through back door deals). Having a dancing Conservative simulacrum of Trudeau with an 80% likability nanos poll won't change anything for the next 3 years.
