Liberal (Minority/Majority) Government 2025 - ???

Why would that matter to people who weren't going to vote for him in the first place? And if he's so unpopular, why would the Liberals want him replaced?
I don't think Carney wants him replaced. I think Carney fast tracked his return to Parliament so he would stay right where he is.

It’s good for the Liberal Party of Canada to have Pierre Poilievre as leader of the official opposition.

It’s bad for Canada to have Pierre Poilievre as leader of the official opposition.

How about you quit whining about the CPC current leader? What say you, Boo hoo? Either vote Conservative or don't.

And this obsession with Pierre, why?
Why would I do that? I supposed to be quiet and just keep my opinions to myself ? You might be comfortable being a sheep but I'm not. As for PP do you know of any other leader of the CPC that's out there? is there some other person doing a bad job of running the party that I'm unaware of?

Just to redirect. Like I commented on the ranting and chanting about how much people hate Trump. The so what matters.

On Pierre Poilievre as the leader of the opposition, thats who and what he is now. Coming on here and ranting and chanting about who should or should not be the leader of the opposition is doing what now? Getting it off your chest? OK, done. He is still the leader of the opposition and so far has actually been doing a good job. Maybe some credit goes to the Liberals, they have people going on and on about the leader of the opposition party.

I was around for 2004-2006, I remember Harper being labelled as a total loser, a Bush wanna be, a dictator in waiting, Harper never, it goes on. People swore up and down he would never and should never be the PM. And many comments of how the CPC needed to ditch him (after all he LOST the 2004 election, what a total loser, right?)

Look at how history unfolded.

Select and maintain the aim.

How about we start scrutinizing the government and how effective (or not) they are leading this nation?

t says you're too young to recognize a groucho marx quote
Or don't give a damn. However since you said your most likely voting conservative, really I don't care how you feel about Pierre. Just tick the conservative box on election day, thank you.

Maybe the thread should be renamed federal parliament 2025-2029 so we can talk about all parties in it, and not just the LPC.

Not only that but it was all driven by trade and investment. Which means businesses are putting their money in canada
That cannot be so, I was told Canada sucks.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to PP apologizing for making a ruckus about a recession that never was.

Great troll, and devoid of any value whatsoever! You really are on your A game.

Correct me if I'm wrong...John Ivison, Ottawa bureau Chief of the National Post?
That "3.3%" growth is based on the .08% growth in the second quarter of 2026, and is the projected annualized growth IF this growth continues.

We haven't felt the effects of Trump's tariffs yet.

So what if John Ivison is bureau chief of Ottawa NP? He has been correct and incorrect several times in the past, he is human.

Maybe watch the premature celebration?

There is a projection of 87,000 to 102,000 job losses with the trade deal failure.
