Life After Death

Life after death, psychic powers, string theory, ninjas, secret squirrels, and the JTF2...

If there are parallel worlds, that means:  that exact sequence of topics has been discussed, in a single thread, on a message board, an infinite number of times at the exact moment I'm typing this.

That means there's an infinite amount of gigabytes of pointless drivel... there are no black holes - just masses of parallel universe servers that have crashed from being filled with such a collection of 1s and 0s.

And now - if you want to really mess with part-time physicists...

Multiply the entire universe by -1.

No longer does the sun emit light, but it sucks dark.  And a black hole emits it.  And when a star becomes full of dark, it implodes into a black hole.

And you know that little dark spot on burnt out light bulbs?  That's all the dark they've sucked up.  They're full, and can't hold anymore - that's why there is no more light in the room.

My head hurts.  I'm going for beer now.

tlm.

Ack! Another thread tossed onto the bonfire of 'conspiracy theory' ridicule...

My brother went to see a physcic. Who told him lots of **** about his past. The guy contacted our father's spirit who died in 1989. One of the things the phycic told him amongst many others was that he was born with 3 thumbs. This blew my mind too because no one really knows about this. The extra thumb was amputed when he was a baby. My brother hadn't told the man that his father had died some years ago and didn't tell him any of the things he'd been told. It was truly very accurate. One of the ninjas whom I train with once told me he believes we have a parralell universe. What do you think, given that the information my brother received was 100% accurate!!  And has anybody else had similar experiences.  Regards  Steve  ps.  I'm keen becasue my father owed me a few Bob when he passed on and I want it back plus interest!! LOL

It would be an interesting subject to debate, as everybody probably has at least one 'spooky-time' story.  However, I dont belive Steve is genuine.  Three thumbs, sure, but as soon as he starts talking about 'one of the ninjas who I train with' and 'parallel unvierses', all I can hear is the squeaky axle of a wheelbarrow carrying a full load of troll poo...

That's your opinion, but the story about the three thumbs is genuine.

Also: If you browse amazon for my seond book you will see that I am a Ninja.  I've studied and trained in Ninjutsu for 5 years now.  I didn't take on the art to learn how to fight, I did to help me to stop it as I was quite a hanful during my service days and continued to be for some time after I left.  That's what my second book is about.

Through my training I have studied the energies, Chi Kung, Reiki and now the Auras.  It has openened my mind emenseley and has also opened many other doors of knowledge that I wasn't aware of before.

The reason my interest came into this subject was becasue of my brother's visit to the Physcic.  To be honest, it has made interesting debate!!

Regards

Steve

I know people who studied and trained in ninjitsu - and none of them call themselves ninja. Nor do they troll boards, but thats another story.
Well, he did say he's a writer...

When you achieve 1st Dan in Ninjutsu you are indeed a Ninja.  I have studied this martial art for 5 years and train with people from all over the world.  They too are ninjas, but I don't beleive the title really matters.  I'm also a former Royal Marine Commando, (A bootneck), so I guess ex marine or ex bootneck also applies.  If I stop training in Ninjutsu then I'll drop the ninja title, but I don't think it has the same impact!!!

Yes I am an author too,  I think we all have a story inside us.  It just needs putting down on paper and a little luck afterwards I'd say.

Steve

I joined up at 18, a long time ago now.  my be you should stick with your ambulance.  Those long dark nights must just fly by!! ;D

Steve ;D

StevenPreece check fire! I was quoting Klc, not you.

And FWIW I prefer being a dismounted medic.  :)

Hunter, please accept my apologies.  I fired from the hip without checking the target.  GPMG style.  I was wrong and am sorry mate.

edit: taking higher road

Steven,

Seeing from other sites and your posts there you may want to search "ninjas" here and see the company of people that associate with that subject.  This coupled with a few things like your lack of spelling (ie. "Psychic") and your philosophical thread titles may have called into question your credibility.  Step back and look at your posts you come across as troll-like, one would expect more from an author and moreover ex-military.  Just an observation and suggestion if you intend to have your threads left in the open..

With respect: If you have any questions ask away.  I'm away for the weekend but will gladly respond on my return.

I can spell physcic however I choose.  Note:  If I wrote the word because as becasue you still read it the same.  Also, an ex footballer doesn't have to talk about football all the time just becasue he was a footballer, if you get my dift.

As for philisophic threads, they're just discussions nothing more.

After spending 7 years in the marines and the following 13 1/2 years going through a very difficult transitional period from a marine to a civilian I find it easy to talk about many topical subjects with knowledge.  You'll find all the posts posted by me come within my remit of experience or knowledge or possibly even from my sense of humour.

I see nothing wrong with that nor do I see anything wrong with talking about ninjas or ninjutsu.  It is part of my life and possibly part of other's people's lives on this forum too.  Or indeed other martial arts.

As for credibility.  I have no worries.  I am who I say I am and I do what I say I do.  (I can also spell write right!!)

If we were all the same wouldn't life be boring!!!

Best Regards with Best Intentions

Steve

I read up on the profile of Steven Preece, and yes that person published two books, one about the marines and one about being a ninja.

The problem is that your writing style has too much in common with some of the 'trollers' who are 18 and dont know what they are talking about.

Now if you really are Steven Preece, then I apologize for doubting your credibility, but as you have probably noted already, your presentation does not reflect the maturity and responsibility that many expect of a 35-40 year old man.

Of course, the same could be said about me at times...  ;D

I accept the apology.  Sorry if my writing style has been below par at times.  The subjects I feel havent.  In future I will try and take more time when posting on the forum.  I some times wonder if its the way comments are interpreted possibly in the same way as accents are.
Maybe I should have added more detail to alleviate ambiguity.

I'm off to my caravan in the country with my family for the weekend, where I'm currently working on a novel and yes I'm using my spell checker. LOL.

Here's wishing all you guys have a very pleasant weekend.

All the very best

Steve

Of course not - because I couldn't have ever met people at a Tojo I went to as a young teenager. People who I would look up to - as they were 40 and 60 year old men who had studied all over the world, and were stronger and wiser then any other people I had ever met. (Okay, so the sensai did name the place the 'Ninja Combat Academy' - But I'm sure that was just to attract young paying members. ;D )

Either way, I have no desire to join in a pissing match - having grown up with my generation, ample skepticism is more then understandable - it's mandatory.
