And that's okay. Some of us don't want religious broadcasts blasted over public loud speakers whether it's 9 minutes or 90. Considering what Islam does and represents in alot or places I'd chalk it up to a little more than pearl clutching.

... one has to ask if we'd also be OK if all churches and religions were told, "hey, zero public audio for you - there's an app." I'd be OK with that broad a rule, but I suspect some might at least quibble when it comes to their own institutions being told to STFU, liturgically speaking.
