NHL playoffs 2025!

It's crazy how having the AGM's Dad as the Head of Player Safety's boss helps prevent accountability for the dirtiness. And how the same relationship dates back to the AGM's playing days when his dad was the actual head of player safety. And it's crazy how the NHL tolerates the blatant conflict of interest, and has for decades now.
So George Paros is the player safety guy,

Former goon- like having the local HA gang be the cops.

Oilers 4-2 over VGK, game 1 round 2.

Calvin Pickard is now the only goalie this year to be 5-0 post season.

The Connor Brown insurance goal in the third period was a Gretzky era, end to end, highlight reel quality effort.

Not to complain (since they finally won a game one), but the next achievement for the Oilers to unlock will be to actually build and hold a lead in the first period.

4-1 Leafs, end of the second. Game one, round two.

You think the Leafs are maybe a little jacked about the hit on Stolarz?

I had to go watch several videos of this "Hit". Looked more like a rub. I'm a little surprised at the hoopla over this. There are harder hits on first year U15 players.

The concussion is probably from the puck to the mask and the symptoms gradually come on, not immediately.

I don’t know what the Leaf’s are thinking. It’s almost like they forgot they have T times to make.
I don't think their new coach plays golf. And he's kinds like a scary dad. You know the one dad who got all the rough/crazy kids when there was a field trip. The only parent who could handle them (and probably the only dad on the trip as well).

Oilers 5-4 in OT vs VGK round 2.

That is 6 straight wins in the playoffs.

Oilers need to do better on PP and play with more discipline to avoid stupid penalties. VGK are super dangerous and they cannot afford to give away chances.

Pickard was great when it mattered most. He is getting better and better.

I am happy to see the Oilers come back from the depths. I hope Winnipeg finds their stride after a shaky start.

The Leafs need to keep the pressure on and not take the stupid penalties Florida is trying to bait them into.

It wasn't a shaky start for Winnipeg, they got Rantanen'd, I'm not worried. That said, the PP NEEDS to score more.
