Hello all,

I was going over the CF Application as I am starting to fill it out, and I noticed in the Education section there are only 2 checkboxes for College Diploma's, a 1 year and a 2 year diploma, I have both a 2yr and a 3yr diploma, so I am wondering how do I signify that I have a 3yr diploma when there is no checkbox? I have already brought this to the attention of the Recruiters ([email protected]) and I am awaiting their response.

I am wondering if there are any other 3yr Diploma holders on this forum who have gotten past this issue and I would like to know what you did.

If anyone has any ideas, let me know, although I will wait and see what the recruiters say regardless.

Thanks!

Talk to the recruiters.  Ask them how they want the information provided.

I suppose you never thought to enter that information in this location:

  PART E      EDUCATION
PARTIE E      ÉTUDES

2. Education details – Études en détail

Subject major/Specialization   Graduated          Number of               Date last attended
      Majeure/Spécialisation        Diplôme       years completed                 (yyyy/mm)
Yes – Oui          Nombre                       Dernière année
                                          No – Non          d'années                      d'études
                                                                terminées                       (aaaa/mm)

Or perhaps in these boxes:

3. Other studies, training or qualifications either completed or in progress
Autres études, instruction ou qualification terminées ou en cours

George Wallace, yes I have already put that information into Section 2 of Part E. However, I was only asking the question in reference to Section 1, not Section 2. In Section 1 of Part E it says to Select the Highest Level of Education Successfully Completed, which has a max of 2year College Diploma before going into University options, which I haven't attended. It doesn't say Section 1 is optional, or not to fill it out, there is no option in there for me.

So I will wait to see what the recruiter says.

Fill in Section 2 with the information.  The Recruiters will understand.  You are not the only one to have faced this dilemma.  You won't be the last.  All the DETAILS are entered in Section 2.

You in business again?  Do I get a "Referal Fee"?  ;D

Thank you for the offer CDN Aviator, but I don't think you could handle the raw power and manliness of my personal information. So I'll wait to see what the recruiter wants.

But if you really really want to do it, I require it in triplicate, hand written. You can keep the pink copy.

:salute:

Ah!  The old Pink Copy in the Application Trick.

Wow, in my mind you sounded exactly like Maxwell Smart.  >:D

P.S. Your shoe phone is ringing.

I figured I would reply to this one last time since I got a response back from the recruiter, and other people might like to know.

Since I have a 3 year diploma and there was no checkbox for it in the "Select highest level of education successfully completed" of Part E, they told me to write it in underneath the 2 year Diploma checkbox in the Post Secondary area, that I have a 3 year Diploma.

Now anyone who has a similar question will have an answer.

All right TheHead,

That's now the third thread - & now, it's 3 warnings.

I don't profess to know what your problem is, or the cause of your attitude, but I do recommend that it disappears - and quick.

Get the hint already. Take your personal issues to PM - I'm tired of reading them in every thread.

Consider yourself officially warned. This isn't stalker.ca, but you're certainly making it seem that way today.
