I have a question, So why does 427 get all the required kit? As for the field, I know, the Airforce does not use tents.
Where would the Double bed, TV, Frig, Heater, Reclining chair, Locker, etc, etc? HAHAHA. Sorry I had to ask. HAHA
Bought a pair from Motor Sport. They gave me a good discount, and I got very nice gloves!!!
As for 427, I don't know why they got the gucchi kits, but it probably came with the tan berets and their name change...
Being tachel, we do live in tents... a lot... Except that we don't have to live out of a ruck, so we try to make ourselves at home, hence the t.v., X-Box, fridge, poker tables... No point in roughing it I guess.
Does anyone have a line on or know where to get Hatch gloves for a decent price, specifically the Street Guard series. I want the ones with the X11 liner but all the sites (Canadian) that I've seen they're all about 80 bucks and with tax and shipping... well I'm sure you get the point. Thanks
Laps, in my spare time (LOL) I'll check D01-319AH, the tac hel aircrew scale then the scale we get for land ops (Armyvern could refresh me on that one, can't recall the other scale off the top of my head.) There is one scale we get (we are actually entitled to portions of four different scales, actually) that has cold wet weather gloves on it...I know the CADPAT cuffs are a bit interesting, but those gloves are decently warm. Trouble is the CWW glove is not rated for flight ops, just working around the squadron harbour (ya know, Recce41.. for plugging in the X-box and restocking the beer fridge :-* ).
Hatch gloves are cheaply made and fall apart without much effort. Specifically, I'm talking about the Hatch Operator glove. Blackhawk has some good gloves, but you can't go wrong with Nomex flight gloves for most non-winter applications.
