It’s to the point that each time Russia does this NATO should collectively just send a Tomahawk somewhere in Russia that will cause problems.

But at least now NATO counties are shooting down Russian intruders.

In this instance NATO as a collective (as well as individual European member states) have AEWACC and individual members have AD Radar Nets and AD systems, as well as Alert Aircraft dedicated for NATO and domestic patrol.

Militarily the kill chain was shortened.
Politically there is now the willingness to use the Kill Chain.

Unfortunately by the time Western Military and Political powers get into rhythm, Russia is usually already onto 3-4 different other nefarious Grey Zone operations.
