if anyone knows where i can get the symbol for the princess louisa light garrison i would be very thankful. i am doing a scrapbook for my grandfather and he was in the army in WWII, and i need a picture to print out for a page.
thanks
lynda

the information i have is the name is 4th princess louise dragoon guards. the regiment mobilized the 4th (active) princess louise dragoon guards on 26 jan, 1941. this unit was converted and redesignated 4th reconnaissance battalion (4th princess louise dragoon guards), 11 feb 1941.
i think it was renamed a lot of times after that too., but always as (4th princess louise dragoon guards.)
any links that show a good picture of either the cap badge or emblem would be very very appreciated. :cdn:

Follow this link, http://www.rcaca.org/r-4PLDG.htm it should take you right to the Royal Canadian Armoured Corps Association website page for the Regt. The site has a image of the capbadge, a brief history of the Regt, list of Battle Honours and Gallantry Awards...pretty much everything you seem to be looking for. A search on google.com also turns up a few other sites that may have some items of interest to you. Hope this helps!
