If I am going into reserve combat engineering and already have a journeyman electrical ticket will that grant me any advance in rank or credit???

Talk to the recruiters at the Recruiting Centre, but I wouldn't count on it.  I don't think Combat Engineers deal to much with what a civvie electrician do if at all.

They (combat engineers) don't do much of anything electrical...

If you can find an airfield engineer unit, you might be able to get in as an ED (Electrical Distribution) tech...
