Hello. I have been trying to put some buckles on the shoulders of my tac vest but I cant find the way to separate the 2 pieces of the female part of the buckle. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
Lerch said:On the surface piece of the buckle there's three posts underneath that slide into the place (which goes on the other side of the material), two near the 'front' and one at the rear. The two at the front get locked into place by a sort of tab. It's kinda hard to explain but you're gonna need a screwdriver or something skinny to pry the tabs out so the posts can slide out of place.
Lerch said:They shouldn't be, you can bend them enough to fit the posts but I wouldn't pry more then that.
The fun part will be jamming the plates underneath the loops on your shoulders
why would you roll straps on your field kit? It makes adjustment 10 times harder, plus even the best french rolls come undone.pascalywood said:Took 10 minutes to install the buckles and roll everything nicely. Thanks again mate.

A "show your loadout" thread might be informative. Very different. I think it would be cool to see what different people across the CF can get away with deployed and domestically.
