Question about summitting application

I just have one question, not sure if anyone will really know but...
I want to join the infanty, and was wondering if I summit my application now, or if I wait and summit it in 2 months from now will that change my basic start date?
I was just reading peoples thread and saw that one was starting in april so I just wanted to know if I wait 2 months if that would make me miss out on the next one.

The course dates are pretty much already laid out in stone. The thing about handing your application in, in 2 months is that your not giving your unit enough time to course load you and have everything ready. Especially if there is something that goes wrong in the application process. Such as a failed test, or a doctors note etc..




The best thing to do is get your application in now, and pick your course dates once your already in the unit and your application and testing has been completed.

Do you know how many basic courses they do a year?
I am just out of the country at the moment but I can come home when ever. But I cant summit my application till I get back, I just don't want to come back and have to wait awhile because I missed out on a start date or something like that. Is there a chance that infantry can close?
