According to Noah, the South Korean government is looking to dispatch a high ranking special envoy to Canada with the goal of "strengthening defense industry cooperation between the two countries." Hanwha Ocean is also opening an office in Canada ahead of pending progress on the CPSP as well. It will be interesting to see who emerges victorious between the Koreans and the Germans from this program.

I have heard some rumours that the CPSP is expected to award a contract in 2026. So between 6months and a year from now.
