Norway has agreed to buy two more subs. I have to wonder how Germany can fulfill all these orders and ours?

Regardless if we chose them or not, its a good thing our submariners are out there gaining as much experience as possible.

Navy hosts Canadian submariner aboard 3,000-ton submarine amid export bid
The Navy invited a Canadian submariner aboard its 3,000-ton submarine during recent maritime drills, officials said Thursday, as Korea seeks to win a major deal to supply submarines to Canada.
The Canadian submariner joined Korean troops on the ROKS Ahn Mu for a six-day exercise that concluded Wednesday as part of the Silent Shark drills, a combined anti-submarine warfare exercise jointly held by Korea and the United States near Guam, according to the Navy.
It marked the first time a foreign submariner boarded Korea's homegrown 3,000-ton submarine, while submariners from overseas have trained alongside Korean service members on smaller 1,200-ton and 1,800-ton submarines during multinational drills.
Maybe that was part of the reason why he was selected?I bet you his forehead has some dents. He's tall for a Submariner.
Maybe that was part of the reason why he was selected?
What's CSF?That is the CSF Chief
Maybe 'Canadian Submariner Forces'What's CSF?

and what is the timeline on that? They are building another factory
and what is the timeline on that?
I’ve not found anything in that. I’ve heard the same but can’t find info on timelines.and what is the timeline on that?
Why should they care? They're just buying it, they're not the ones trying to sell it to other countries.Norway announces another 2 subs to be purchased, total on order now 6. Not sure they should be announcing this stuff until AFTER our decision is made, lol. Harder and harder to go with them if they continue to clog up the delivery timelines.
Norway is actively lobbying Canada alongside the Germans to get us to adopt the Type 212CD, they will benefit from another NATO nation purchasing and operating 12 of the same boats they are.Why should they care? They're just buying it, they're not the ones trying to sell it to other countries.
Not really, Norway and Germany are joined at the hip for this submarine deal. They are a package deal and both have been actively on our side of the pond promoting it jointly. Why should they care? They're just buying it, they're not the ones trying to sell it to other countries.
We also have them on buses and billboards in Ottawa.I saw an ad on CTV this morning advertising the Hanwha KSS submarine for Canada.
