Reserve armoured application rejected due to V4, what now for my preference?

Well, I just did half my medical today and was told that my vision is V4 which is unfit for reserved amoured crewman I orginally intended to apply. One of the reasons I choose armoured is that I wanted to drive a vehicle as part of the job. The guys working at the recruiting centre recommended me supply tech and vehicle tech as alternatives because driving is involved in these, but I checked forces.ca and not much information is provided regarding driving in these trades. Can you guys suggest a few trades for V4 vision that involve driving? My aptitude test score is good enough for any trade in the forces.
BTW, a reserve signals regiment in my city employs vehicle technicians. Does this mean being a signaller get you opportunities to drive? Thanks.

Uh, no. That's not a great option. MSE Ops need V3.

In addition to the RCEME trades mentioned (Weapons Techs and Vehicle Tech), you might want to look at Medical Tech. And signallers often drive their vehicles -- and require V4 -- so your local Signals Regiment might be a good choice.

If you search on the army.ca site, you can actually find the link that explains the vision trade requirements for all trades within the military that will take a V4. There are some, so you can still serve, but you'll have to look through to see if you WANT to be in any of those trades.
