What the latest on reserve musicians, will the trade continue to exist as there are volunteer bands available to fill any music requirements ? Just wondering as the budget came out a while ago .

Volunteer bands and Res F musicians have co-existed for decades.

Some bands are a mix of the two. I think it works good as the volunteers maintain their skills and get to pick events they can perform at while the serving members give a more stable core to draw on.

Remember, in the mid 90s senior CAF leaders decided "Hmm, what's more important for a military: musicians, or physical fitness instructors?"
