I can't think of any other reason you'd be opposed to having a unit or RCAF centennial patch on an RCAF uniform.Who said anything about being embarrassed.
I honestly regret switching. I liked the look and feel of the old NCD's better. And frankly, the lack of pockets made me feel less stupid about the amount of time it took to check myself over if something went missing. It’s the “I have enough time in to get the old stuff” line of thinking, which kind of falls apart if new folks are also getting issued the old stuff. The current CADPAT fits better and you don’t look like a tied sausage, whether you were thin or not.
Now, I wonder how many RCN folks purposely keep their old NCDs rather than switch to the NECUs.
I bet clothing stores still has old stock if you ask nicely... I go the old jacket in Esquimalt back in March, before switching to NCEU two days later.I honestly regret switching. My positive space patch idea may not end up as popular as the airforce ball caps but but I should still get a point or two for inclusive behavior."Safe non judgmental " space
You need to engage in more self reflection. My positive space patch idea may not end up as popular as the airforce ball caps but but I should still get a point or two for inclusive behavior.

silly question. Is the old jacket not still THE jacket? I thought the new thing with all the pockets was a shirt? I kept both of mine because i thought they were going to carry over.I bet clothing stores still has old stock if you ask nicely... I love my RCAF ball cap. Being close to 17 Wing.....it confuses some when I wear that hat and Patricia T shirts.....My positive space patch idea may not end up as popular as the airforce ball caps but but I should still get a point or two for inclusive behavior.
The new shirt is two layers, so there is no jacket. The old system of a t-shirt, shirt, and double layer jacket was overkill... We were trying to make our daily uniform bunker gear.silly question. Send me your address and I'll send a CFINTCOM hat to really mess with minds...I love my RCAF ball cap. Being close to 17 Wing.....it confuses some when I wear that hat and Patricia T shirts.....

I may be a weather nerd, but I detect sarcasm...Please. He wants something cool.
Clearly the people making those decisions were not from a Scottish regiment.Because "run around naked for a few years" was rejected as a CoA.
It depends: Tops’s, both the old Paraclete SOFBDU was in 4” and the current Crye SOF issue stuff is 4” as well. Pants were 2” in both as well. One of the best things for CCUE will be the 2” increments instead of the current 4” increments. Fewer “too big or too small” sizes for people like me.
I believe that the US military uniforms are in 2” increments which is one reason why they look better, irrespective of body size. If you’re fit and your shirt fits normally vs like a tent, it’ll look better.
The kids call it “flexing”
