Student loans?   I am in default with my student loan. Is this going to disqualify me from joining?

You will need to set up a payment plan and start making payments.  This will show up on your credit history.

This is exactly my situation, I had a variety of osap, cibc, lines of credit visa student loans that i had mismanaged for a while, and allowed them to go into default. My application file was going to be placed on hold because of the default, however, i was able to make arrangements with my creditors, and I gave proof to the Capt. who was handling my file (I filed for a consumer credit proposal to manage mine).
