Write to your nearest Liberal MP. I've done it several times. I pointed out that there are 2.4 Million registered firearms owners, and that not all of them necessarily want to vote Conservative, but feel compelled to do so because of all the "attacks" on legal firearms owners. I've gotten responses. They were pretty vanilla responses, but I know that stuff gets registered, so if enough of us do it, it may have an impact. The last message I wrote (just a few days ago) made reference to how close the election is, and how it might not be a good idea to piss off the millions of us who vote AND own firearms.

I'm a CSSA member and I have seen no info of this type. Can you provide a link?

It wouldn't surprise me, though, as every exemption request made under s.97.1(b) of the Firearms Act has been denied according to Canadian Olympic Committee representative Lynda Kiejko's testimony before SECU.
