The government can spend a hundred billion on India. If they can do that, they can pay us full value, not just on guns. If people choose to turn in their property, it should include all ancillary equipment. Mags, optics, furniture, reloading dies, etc. Mags for my rifle(s) are almost $50 a piece. I had a tipsy yet informative conversation with some hoity toity LPC types last weekend at the club house. They seemed to allude to the same.

But they were also cagey on the direction.

My gut is telling me its good news.

Given the multifaceted and very public push back against the "compensated confiscation" plan, I tend to beleive the same, so I'm cautiously optimistic. But I'm also used to being disappointed by Liberals.

I wish them luck. There are all sorts of ways governments (at all levels) impose uncompensated costs on people, as individuals or otherwise.

Having met and spoken with him a couple of times, he does not. But he is sticking to the script and that's pretty much what I meant.

So am I. But you can't win if you don't fight. My fear is that a GoC win at the SCC will embolden the antis.
