Now all provinces need to follow suit.
Confront them with the real bill and force them to pay it or offramp.

I'm hearing rumours that there may be some changes coming regarding our firearms laws yet again. Unfortunately, I have no solid details to share as it may only be water cooler discussions at public safety. I cannot say if the changes will be positive or not and I will not speculate. Just keep an ear to the ground for a while.
Given the multifaceted and very public push back against the "compensated confiscation" plan, I tend to beleive the same, so I'm cautiously optimistic. But I'm also used to being disappointed by Liberals.I had a tipsy yet informative conversation with some hoity toity LPC types last weekend at the club house. They seemed to allude to the same.
But they were also cagey on the direction.
My gut is telling me its good news.

I wish them luck. There are all sorts of ways governments (at all levels) impose uncompensated costs on people, as individuals or otherwise.Latest from the SCC, re: appealing the Liberal government’s policy.
Having met and spoken with him a couple of times, he does not. But he is sticking to the script and that's pretty much what I meant. If he exudes confidence and competence to you so be it.
So am I. But you can't win if you don't fight. My fear is that a GoC win at the SCC will embolden the antis.47000 declared firearms according to the article going into the last two weeks
