they would if they were known to tell the truth once in a while. Think back on all the derogatory comments made by politicians regarding cadillac helicopters, the F35, the airbuses originally with Mulroney. I reiterate they have to start by presenting a united front on the need so it becomes separate from party politics. and I apologize for repeating myself

Lloyd stuck his head up, along with Allan Rock, just recently, advising that we ignore this DJT 2% nonsense.
They influenced a bunch of people who are now teachers and politicians and who lean heavily in the pacifist direction.
There used to be a strong correlation between the United Church and the NDP. That was in the days when they supported Zionism and building new Jerusalems.

My point is not that Lloyd and Allan are personally relevant today. The point is that the constituency that they represented, and the school of thought of that constituency, is now very much part of mainstream Canadian culture.

We have 16 at a min coming, they will require new facilities, that is plain and simple.
I wish reporting that is complete and comprehensive would be done.
If I presented some of these incomplete, inaccurate or misleading presentations to my VP’s I’d be walked out the door by lunchtime.

Less based on historical USN data, but even the ONT Nuke sites are way less problematic than the environmental damage from hydro, coal (or when you factor in the environmental damage to make them; wind and solar)

We exercise a major emission of nuclear material because its easier to practice big and then scale down. But again, the chances are basically zero of that happening outside of kinetic action against the submarine itself.

Lets not get all raging about solar and wind. They have a place and are extremely important mixes to many energy systems. And yes they CAN have a very low carbon footprint and environmental impact when implemented in comparison to most other energy sources (based on ton carbon to kWh produced). But like all energy producers they need to be placed where they are going to maximize cost/power efficiency.
Most people miss that last statement. Power has to be reliable, available, affordable. Like hydro, wind and solar have issues with the first two if you site them incorrectly. But if you do site them correctly, oh baby, they are excellent.
