We exercise a major emission of nuclear material because its easier to practice big and then scale down. But again, the chances are basically zero of that happening outside of kinetic action against the submarine itself.

Ironically, CAF/RCN mitigation activities pale in comparison comparison to theories and consequence management that OPG and NBP have in place for incidents. Those two moths also take installation (dare some say NCI) security more seriously than the CAF [SAD].

I can imagine how the move away from their was viewed by the spouses and offspring of the soldiers. "Guess what honey we are moving from a nice town on the ocean to some god forsaken place in the prairies.."

The nuclear security teams are no joke. A lot could be learned there both legislatively and functionally if CAF had need of a real no shit high end armed security force (but not military or police) as part of larger domestic force protection efforts.

OK. I understand Edmonton. But I moved west from Ontario and thought I had found paradise on earth when I hit Calgary. And both the Strats and Picklies were in town at the time.

And I were just recently out of university at the time.
