Perhaps a deliberate act?Likely not used to having live ammunition

To be fair, the WH, Pentagon, nor the State Dept didn’t announce that.same old same old from Biden though isnt it? tells Russia about new rules. Russia moves assets out

Well you’re making the mistake of assuming that Russian/Chinese/NK ammo safety systems work. This guy must have launched it from further than 15-20metres..
And assuming their grenades have arming safeties.Well you’re making the mistake of assuming that Russian/Chinese/NK ammo safety systems work.
They had terrible issues with AGS-17’s for a while having detonations during chambering, and the belt’s sympathetic detonation thereafter.
On my M72 range, the relay before me had someone fire into the ground less than 10 metres in front of the firing line, and his excuse was that all the training M72s he had used were missing the front sight, so he assumed he didn't need to use it.We had a couple of M79 NDs in the cuds in NI. One even went through the window of a local hotel and landed at the feet of some curious tourists.
In both cases the grenades were stopped by 1) a bale of hay and 2) curtains, within the arming distance, so didn't detonate.

During WW 2 factory workers in occupied territories would sabotage weapons and ammo.Well you’re making the mistake of assuming that Russian/Chinese/NK ammo safety systems work.

I suspect that this has more to do with Russian/ Soviet quality control operating at it's usual high standards of efficiency....During WW 2 factory workers in occupied territories would sabotage weapons and ammo.
About bloody time!
Out of range of promised NATO weapons but well within range of Ukrainian drones. But it would be imprudent and unwise to hit the Kremlin or St Basil's. Putins palaces? Sure, Go For It.Gee, I wonder what one of their first targets might be?
The dachas of his supporters are fair game tooOut of range of promised NATO weapons but well within range of Ukrainian drones. But it would be imprudent and unwise to hit the Kremlin or St Basil's. Putins palaces? Sure, Go For It.
limiting to kursk is rather useless as a lot of assets have been moved out of kursk, that said they can put the kursk airfield which has been used as a FOB for helicopters out of action, as well as rail bridges and other assets that actually go into belgorod which could cause major supply issues for the russian forces fighting in Kharkiv and northern LuhanskATACMS, Scalp and Storm Shadow. A lot of uneducated press release style media hype with no critical evaluation or analysis about essentially another minor, tactical level decision. Limited to the shortest range of the long range weapons and in Kursk only. Such a spineless action by the president of (allegedly) the defender of freedom and the worlds only superpower.
