The War in Ukraine

Orban causing unnecessary trouble yet again. Hard to not see this as him doing this on behalf of Putin.

There is also a bit of an exodus happening in Crimea due to the fuel shortages.

Do you think Ukraine is actually trying to completely destroy Russia's oil manufacturing capacity, and is simply unable?

Or are they able to, but unwilling to go scorched earth, for fear that that would elicit a more extreme response from Russia? Are they just trying to slowly make Russians lives more difficult without ignited an unwanted fire?
I think all 3 of these are the case.

I imagine it takes some time to plan these attacks, as the personnel & equipment have to be moved into place first without any detection.

But the more difficult life is made for the average Russian because of this war (already very unpopular with Russians) the more & more resistence Putin will feel from his own population.

Ukraine has been extremely clever & thought outside the box to a very impressive degree during this conflict, gotta give them that

I think that realistically the Ukrainians are pushing steadily and aggressively on Russian oil infrastructure at the pace they can sustain, given the concurrent need to also service other targets. They only have so much bandwidth for the intel and targeting and mission planning all of this takes. If Ukraine could move faster on the Russian petroleum sector, I suspect they would.
