Trudeau Popularity - or not (various polling, etc.)

Why? The Liberal Party loves virtue signaling and commenting on US politics and affairs.

What's Trudeau fond of saying?
"MAGA influenced thinking" and "MAGA Conservatives".

There's some MAGA jokes for him.
At risk of bleeding over to another thread, my issue with this is that no one knows how much of a joke he thinks this is.

But hey, if Trudeau is at the “giving no shits” mode, he should publicly say that comment about WA, OR, and CA as the 11th through 13th provinces on or about 19 Jan, and see Trump’s reactions. Because hey, it’s all jokes, right? :sneaky:

No one cares what Trudeau thinks. No one cares what someone posts on Reddit. I know you like to post screencaps from that place, not sure why.

Just because you don’t follow it doesn’t mean that other demographics (especially the younger generation) doesn’t. Reddit is one of the bigger sources for info on the CAF, especially for random admin questions.

People care enough about Reddit that it’s a source that news articles quote, especially about the CAF.

Nope. The situation is nobody cares what Trudeau says any longer... except to laugh at what re-enforces perceptions of his abject stupidity.

Right now, everyone cares what the incoming POTUS is saying.
I care about what the incoming POTUS is saying too - mostly for what will make me laugh that day.

If Mitch McConnell, of all people, is publicly saying that some of the new admin’s policies have gone too far (e.g. polio vaccine) then maybe they should take a step back.

CAF related stuff yes, random posts from a left-leaning user base, no.

It’s in the hands of Jagmeet Singh and Liberal Caucus members…

The NDP (Peter Julien, Deputy Leader) said yesterday, to CBC, that if a non confidence vote was needed, they would look at it in late Feb, early March. Not before.

Guess who's pension becomes vested on Feb 25?

Singh and his orange liberal party, will not take trudeau down until he has his pension, period.

Interview with CBC/ NDP (Peter Julien) here. Interview starts at 14:00 minutes.

And if he did, he'd get the same shit as he got when he tweeted about other big issues.
Wrong. I'm quite happy someone else is calling out this clown show we have up here.
Bold stance supporting a government leader poking his nose into another country's business ;)

Next government, freeze political salaries for 3 years,
Then that would guarantee only the wealthy could run for office.

As much as it pains me to say this, if we want to attract top calibre people to run for office, we need to compensate them for the shit and abuse they take. Otherwise politics will only attract bottom feeders, like it does now.

Parliament adjourns today until January 27. An election would need to be called before January 20 with the minimum election period of 36 days for Singh's pension to be in jeopardy.

Trudeau trolls the US all the time. Tit for tat.

Trump is right about freeland.
She's a journalist and fully unqualified to handle finances involving anything more than her own household.

The last time she handled finances was at Reuters. She was given a 10 million dollar project. She blew through the 10 mil and had nothing to show the bosses. She left Reuters for politics right after her malfeasance came to light.

And trudeau handed her the keys to the treasury.

RFK backs the polio vaccine. McConnell is a zombie now. Stumbling from one rumour to another.

The difference is they have the means to subjugate us. Going the other way is just plan fantasy.
…and if Trump thinks that Trudeau (or anyone saying this) is serious, then it’s a case of “dishing it out but not being able to take it”.

But, following this thought experiment for a bit, it’s not like the US hasn’t split apart before.
