Isn’t it possible that the leaders of all three parties believe that they want to make Canada great again? I don’t feel that Justin should stay in power any longer. Both he and his caucus seem tired and horribly disconnected from the average Canadian. But are they in favour of making Canada inferior again? Frankly, I don’t like Poilievre either. But just because I don’t like someone’s ideas or actions doesn’t mean that they are necessarily doing so for ulterior reasons.
For example, Justin seems, in my opinion, to have a horribly naive assumption that if you let people in from different races, cultures and religions, then everyone will see the light and get along beautifully even though the world around them is bristling with violence and intolerance, with only the occasional admonition by our pretty boy leader to help society stay on course. He has also let China gain too much power over Canadians…mind you so have successive governments.
Over the years I have worked directly with numerous politicos, mainly those who were in the old PC party even though I never identified as a dyed-in-the-wool conservative. These included some cabinet ministers, MPs as well as top political advisors and strategists. I often disagreed with their views but never did I doubt that they believed in what they were doing as the best course of action. I guess what I’m trying to say is that most people wouldn’t do what they do if they felt they were doing the wrong thing. While I do feel that Canada is going to hell in a hand basket, I think the problem lies not so much in what one leader has done but how he has interpreted and dealt with the myriad of economic, political, social and military challenges facing us. Definitely not an easy task. Unless, of course, you want to see me elected as Prime Minister of Canada.
So I'd actually really like to be with you on this. I agree with you, that 99% of the time MOST politicians make the decisions they do because they feel like it will be in the best interest of their constituents and/or country.
Those decisions may not make sense to me. I may violently oppose those decisions and think they are horrible. But in the end, I imagine you are correct and that most politicians are doing what they feel is best for the people they were elected by.
...in the case of Trudeau, however, I just can't see it. It doesn't matter how many angles I look at it from, everything about both him & his decisions screams not only is he not trying to improve the country, but he's actively trying to destroy it in a very systematic way.
While I do believe there are a few LPC MP's who are grounded and work hard on behalf of their constituents, the party leadership (Trudeau, Freeland, and Cabinet members) all seem intent on destroying the fabric of Canadian society both now, and for future generations.
Incompetence is one thing. But incompetence can be padded by seeking advice from experts in various fields, and following that advice. Even a relatively Incompetent government can struggle through a 4 year period without doing too much damage if they consult with competent bodies.
Heck, as much as I hate Trudeau & his globalist ilk (and I sincerely mean it when I say that) I wouldn't hate him if it was sheer incompetence that plagued him.
But I don't think it's just sheer incompetence, and that's why I do hate him & feel totally justified in doing so. I believe it's very much intentional, and has been from the start.
Apparently I come across as quite the conspiracy theorist, and I've punished everybody on this forum enough with my facts
cough I mean nonsense, so I won't get started with yet another of my lists.
But after basically 10 years in office, he shouldn't be incompetent anymore. That's no longer an excuse after a decade in office.
He doesn't take his orders from Canadian citizens. He's the poster boy for the WEF, the Nazi run organization that wants you to Dat factory grown meet & crickets, is opposed to single family homes, and wants you to own nothing and be happy about it.
And everything both him & Freeland do is to make those goals a reality.
It isn't a coincidence that both him & Freeland are prominent members of the WEF, and that Freeland is somehow both Deputy PM AND Finance Minister.
(Mark Carney is a WEF puppet too, a guy that within 48hrs of being appointed to a position of great influence, gave his personal buddy $2 billion dollars for his company & wants Canadians to give him $10 billion in exchange for managing our pension funds for us...)
If I believed Trudeau actually wanted what was best for Canadians, and that he was JUST a moron, I could maybe let some things slide. But I just can't get myself there.
