Trudeau Popularity - or not (various polling, etc.)

And what do we have here? JP strikes again

In fact, not only not shocked, but saddened that the majority of Canadians do not appreciate the gravity of the situation of the entwinement of the Chinese government/party into Canada’s affairs…politics, business, society…

CCP, UFWD, CCBC, etc al… and accept an incumbent Government’s attempt to conceal and permanently prohibit the legal public exposure of such evidence…

I knew it was bad, but this is “Vichy France” level, bad.

No wonder the Liberals don’t want to give up power.
And people wonder why I am "anti-authority" ... the Emperor has no clothes.

Fuuuuuuuuuck.
Interesting video.

My one question is the whole “little potato” spat in the beginning of his term - if the LPC and CCP are actually that close then why would either side want to cause any diplomatic incidents like the stuff between JT and Xi? Political theatre?

The foreign interference report (what parts people can read) will be very enlightening.

They may want her as leader, but I assure you no one else does.

That move would cost them not only the election but Opposition for many years to come.

Her association and linkages to PMJT are too much of an albatross to see her lead the LPC into anything but oblivion.
Hence why she had to resign and skewer PMJT. Chrystia Freeland is nowhere near ready to assume office but she will hang out in the wings and rebuild her rep away from PMJT. Memories are short and she can take a run in a few years when people have forgotten.

The Liberal Party needs a reformer and rebuilder. I say that as someone who detests what the Trudeau (père et fils) Liberals have become since 1967 but who wants that great Party to prosper because I know that :cdn: needs two socially moderate, fiscally responsible and globally engaged political parties to swap power every few years and, right now, I think we have less than one of those.

Or maybe it's time for a new party to take its place, like a revival of the Canadian Labour Party.

You sure about that? Or just regurgitating the "Rebel du jour"?
I am 100% positive that Trump won with numbers Trudeau couldn't even dream of matching, even when adjusted for the population difference

The LPC can't even win a by-election right now, as has been demonstrated by the last 4 in a row. Winning anywhere close to half of the votes is a pipe dream for Justin...

(Unless I'm missing something, and Justin isn't desperately holding onto power by his fingernails?)
