This will work through the courts quickly; there will be a plethora of cases where it immediately matters.

I personally doubt the courts will allow and uphold a precedent where the President gets to arbitrarily and unilaterally declare what provisions of the Constitution mean.

SCOTUS essentially declared him above the law, I'm sure they can figure out how to make him the sole arbiter of the constitution.

Question: Are Lesbian couples not recognized in Federal law by the US? By reading the strict way this is worded, if the non-American female spouse of a female US citizen were to give birth in the US, that child would not automatically entitled to US citizenship?

They did a story about one of the capitol police who was beaten. I feel so bad for him. Out of all of Trump's day 1 actions, this one, somewhat surprisingly, bothers me the most. I'm "not so bothered" by the pardons for those who broke in and simply meandered around and defaced the property, but the ones who physically assaulted police officers? This isn't justice.

Make whatever apologetics you want for people convicted of literal sedition, assaulting police etc. They still did those things and were found guilty in court.

I would expect anyone trying to violently overthrow the results of a legitimate election to be treated similarly by the justice system. That’s not a partisan viewpoint. This batch simply happened to be siding with Trump.

Those convicted of crimes for January 6th aren’t victims. Those serving sentences were prisoners, not hostages.

I read it, read it again and still agree with him. That isn't a surprise to anyone that really knows me as I have said it for years that it shouldn't exist anywhere. Women should not be able to travel to a country in order to obtain a foot in the door by having her baby there.

One I would like to have seen is in regards to refugees. if you claim you are a refugee from a country and granted status then travel to that country your status is immediately revoked. IAW Amnesty International "A refugee is a person who has fled their own country because they are at risk of serious human rights violations and persecution there." If that is the case so bad that you can't live there you are not going there on vacation.

I have issues with some of Biden’s pardons and commutations too.

But he’s not the president anymore (notice how that was accomplished without having to suppress a riot), and he didn’t pardon anyone for using violence to try to ensure he took power despite the lawful results of an election.

It’s gonna take something stronger than whataboutism to try to bury the coddling of seditionists.
