Trump administration 2024-2028

I think there's two possibilities, but only one probability here. Firstly, either the measure gets defeated in Congress, because the Republicans vote as a block, or less likely, those Republicans who's seats are already in jeopardy at the mid terms, vote for impeachment.

I think this is wrong move. It didn't work out well last time.

I think the Dems are smarter to let the American enjoy the Gov the elected and come in after to clean it up as saviors and hero's.

I think this just further raises the tension.
Perhaps that's the difference between a statesman and a politician. A politician i motivated by political opportunity and power. A statesman sees the nation they chose to serve becoming a laughing stock and the Constitution they swore to uphold being used a toilet paper.

Impeachment over legal issues that haven't been settled yet is a terrible idea. Yes, I know some things like the "mistaken" deportation of that guy to El Salvador look manifestly unlawful. "We're going to impeach over one or two or a few particular illegal things the administration did" is a terrible precedent to set, considering how some people felt about the "war criminals" Bush, Cheney, and Obama. Administrations do a lot of illegal things.

On the other hand, a Congress that gets a taste for hitting the "nice try, next!" button as far as presidents wouldn't be the worst thing regardless of party.

1000% this ^

By trying to impeach President Trump so early into his term wreaks of the same lawfare nonsense the Dems dragged Trump through for years - and is the very thing that has really spoiled their brand

The American people voted Trump in, and got behind his platform. So now it's time to get to work & get stuff done.

Creating more lawfare to fill the airwaves with is just going to annoy the public & work against them come election time

Lindsey Graham apparently has endorsed Trump as the next Pope.

There is not a reality, current or alternate, where that sentence makes sense.

If I were still a practising Catholic, I'd be pretty offended at the very notion. As far as I know Trump still identifies as Non-denominational.

This is the same admin, right?

I’m not Catholic- heathenish here but raised in the Christian tradition.

And I’m offended at that notion as well.

What is it with people who feel the need to verbally express every stupid thought that pops up in a dream? When you have to qualify or follow-up everything you say with 'just kidding', after a very short while, people just conclude you are delusional. Or just be like MTG and just tell any questioner with '**** off'.
