Since when does this administration listen to court orders?

Since when does this administration listen to court orders?
Across the entire board, very close to 100% of the time. Legal observers have noted that Trump's administrations have been heavily challenged in courts and nonetheless comply when legal options are exhausted or the administration doesn't want to pursue all options. Some people are misled into believing that the administration ignores orders because they don't understand the procedural wrangling, particularly those who mistake lower courts' procedural orders as some kinds of final judgements and don't pay attention to the subsequent rounds until all legal options are exhausted.

There are some obvious outright exceptions, almost entirely related to deportation activity - eg. demands to return or expedite return of a person or people deported, or to immediately release people taken into custody for deportation - which mean no-one should claim 100% compliance for the administration. The particular weak point is the delaying tactics being used to avoid having to release people detained for deportation. The administration is determined to deport people in the country illegally, and people opposed to deportations are determined to use the courts to fight as many battles as possible. There is not a good faith intent on either side to expeditiously deport only the masses of people in the country illegally who are legitimately deportable.

From one side, the administration is ignoring the courts and all the fault is on the administration. From the other side, prior administrations set up the problem by ignoring faithful execution of the laws and all the fault is on them, and those continuing to resist and failing to cooperate with enforcement. Intractable.

"At one dinner with critical prominent economists, he added: “The president says, ‘I understand you guys are upset.’ They said, ‘Yes, we’re upset. You’re choosing a path. Instead of restructuring the banks, you’re going to put millions of people out of homes. Yes, we’re upset.’”

"Obama, Trumka said, replied: “I understand that, but they give me peace and quiet in the capital market. And I need peace and quiet in the capital market so that I can get this other important work done.”

"Trumka never forgot the exchange. “That still rings in my head,” he said. “They [the Obama administration] never understood the anger. Quite frankly, when that [the financial crash and subsequent bail outs] happened, people wanted vengeance.”

"That tale of a breakdown of trust between Obama’s White House and the American public, which Trump seized on in his rise to office, comes up in a range of policy areas covered by the oral histories."

And thus, Trump....

And NATO and Canada.

Obama thought Trump was a joke. He completely misjudged the mood in America

Hundreds of newly-released interviews have revealed just how badly the Democrat administration failed to grasp reality

I wonder if Obama would like a Mulligan on that one ?

Isn't a bit like saying, 'I don't want the Jew's rounded up next to my school, what if the children see them being beaten as they get on the trains?'

Her third point ? I think thats probably what you want it equate to.

But I think as a parent or care giver to small children we look to shelter them from things. I still think its silly.

The safety concerns are valid though IMHO.

agreed but is it just another version of NIMBY?

Nah, to hell with that. The more people have to see the reality of what’s being done, the better. Force a bit of a gut check on the reality of the policies they say they support.

Criminals are sometimes seen in shackles, as a consequence of many laws. Film at 11. Gut check when people realize it's not just for one thing is optional.
