Trump administration 2024-2028

Irony.

So the falling out after a decade+ close friendship happened well before the wide proliferation of email/text and other digital records. Surely that means that nothing untoward happened between 1987 and 2005 and the relationship between Epstein and the weirdo that has been found civilly liable for SA and liked to hang backstage with his underage beauty pageant girls was an innocent book club. Keep clinging.
I've characterized Trump as a misogynist before ("grab 'em by the pussy"). He seems to be able to attract women and solicit prostitution on his own, with no obvious penchant for dipping below age lines. None of that is novel, nor is it the goalpost for the scandal everyone wants to have.

What the "Epstein files" are supposed to do is tie Trump to pedophilia, and in particular pedophilia fed by a procuror and procuress. Nothing yet. Lots of other luminaries and lesser creatures, though. Keep clinging.

This is who Charles Kushner is:

“In 2005, Kushner was convicted of illegal campaign contributions, tax evasion, and witness tampering, and was sentenced to two years' imprisonment, which he served in the Federal Prison Camp, Montgomery. As a convicted felon, he was also disbarred in three states. He later received a pardon issued by his son's father-in-law, President Trump, on December 23, 2020. Kushner has donated significant amounts to Trump's campaigns. Previously, he was a major Democratic party donor. In 2025, he was nominated by President Trump to serve as United States ambassador to France during his second administration. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on May 19, 2025, by a vote of 51–45.”

A convicted felon as the US Ambassador to France.

The French have now effectively ‘neutered’ him as being an effective Ambassador.

And as quiet as a mouse, dropped.

Well it is Tuesday after all.

Oh, and those 15%....um, I mean 10% tariffs???
US President Donald Trump's new global tariffs have come into effect at 10% despite a pledge to introduce them at a higher rate.
After the Supreme Court blocked many of his sweeping import taxes on Friday, the president said he would introduce a 10% global rate. He then said on Saturday that the rate would be 15%.
However, according to official documents, the tariffs have been set at the lower rate from Tuesday with no directive to increase the rate issued. The BBC has contacted the White House for comment.

Possibly smugglers? It's certainly a choice to start shooting at any countries coast guard in it's own waters.

Cuba's Interior Ministry has announced that four men on a US-registered speedboat were shot and killed after being intercepted in Cuban waters.

In a statement, the ministry said that the speedboat's passengers opened fire on a coast guard vessel that approached them.

Six additional passengers were wounded in the incident, which took place near an island on Cuba's northern coast.

Dozens of FBI records apparently missing from Epstein files, including Trump accuser interviews

Dozens of FBI witness interviews from the investigation of Jeffrey Epstein appear to be missing from the massive trove of files released by the Department of Justice last month, according to a CNN review – including three interviews related to a woman who accused President Donald Trump of sexually assaulting her decades ago.

An evidence log provided to attorneys for Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell includes serial numbers for about 325 FBI witness interview records – but more than 90 of those records, over a quarter of the list, don’t appear to be present on the DOJ website, according to CNN’s review.

Among those missing records are three interviews related to a woman who told agents that Epstein had repeatedly abused her starting when she was approximately 13 years old, and who also accused Trump of sexually assaulting her.
