Sure. In a few more years there will be a presidential election, and Trump will not be a candidate let alone the victor. If the Democrats manage to nominate someone sober (who could probably not be any of the candidates currently amusing the prediction markets), they will most likely win; otherwise, I expect Rubio or maybe DeSantis to compete, to beat Vance in a primary, and to win the general. The Republican party will continue to be the party that is almost entirely in favour of constitutional status quo, and the Democrats will continue to be the party that advocates reforming Congress or Senate or the USSC in ways that amount to "whatever it takes for us to hold the balance of power, preferably in order to govern by executive order". The Senate, House, courts, military, and federal law enforcement and other agencies will not have become obedient creatures rubber-stamping the decisions of a Republican president. If most of Trump's trade protectionism hasn't already been zeroed out by courts, or perhaps by Congress, it will be allowed to die whenever Republicans have the power to do so and reassert their historical position as being the party of free trade.
