Trump administration 2024-2028

According to Trump today before he headed off to Alaska with his new arm candy press secretary, the diesel being shipped out from Russian is "for the world, they are not releasing it to us". Whataguy.

Straight off to Cuba it goes....

Apparently the amount of crude in North America is not the problem, it's the type and shipping costs. I read elsewhere that the cost to ship from Saudi to China has gone from $2 per barrel to $26

‘We’ve drowned ourselves in buzzwords’: Acting US Army secretary gives sermon-like first speech

One year ago, Army Secretary Dan Driscoll eviscerated bureaucratic delay and acquisition roadblocks in a profanity-laced public address.

On Monday, his successor, Acting Army Secretary Adam Telle, took things back to the biblical book of Genesis in his first public speech to troops since assuming the role.

“Controlling land is fundamental to humanity,” he told a packed ballroom at the Association of the United States Army’s annual meeting. “The Army does it better than anyone, and it’s on us, the people in this room, to keep it that way. Humanity’s connection to the land is biblical, and it even transcends faith, since the dawn of creation, as recorded in Genesis.”

Telle, who previously served as the assistant secretary of the Army for public works, enlisted the Old Testament to preach a message of simplicity of purpose, invoking the sacred ground of past battlefields and the Army’s long history of protecting American territory.
