Flipping that kill switch would harm Canada for sure, but would also wipe out Silicon Valley, every major US defence firm and all kinds of other industries for generations as no one would ever trust them again. Microsoft, Apple, etc etc would all crater internationally, and the impact on stock prices would wipe out a lot of pension funds. It would be global financial suicide.

Canada and the EU are already developing our own satellite systems for this risk, as we saw the impact on Ukraine from access just being throttled, but that's just the tip of it, and this kind of thing would impact trillions of dollars worth of assets.

Trump's tariffs are already an act of self harm making US goods more expensive, but this would make them unusable and untrustworthy across the board.

It's not just the Arms industry.

Its Banking, Social Media, Business capabilities. That CDN ICC Judge has had her complete life up ended. No credit cards, no access to her social media accounts, nothing.

If you want to ignore the steady rachet to the left by all means, Other examples of the ratchet include New York City now being lead by a Muslim mayor after being home to the single largest terror attack on American soil... by radical Muslim terrorists.

Of course Trump suffered losses in the mid-terms, this was highly predicable. Every president can expect this, add the Trump effect (his perceived performance by at least half the voter population), the migration trends from blue to red states, and the overall ratchet left... this result is not unexpected nor shocking. Almost every mid-term is a punishment to the incumbent.

If you get your dopamine hit by all things negatively impacting Trump - have at 'er.
 
So it begins. Vance is explicitly saying a lot of Republican voters showed up but didn’t vote Republican, and is attributing the loss to ‘the war’, and says Trump himself admitted it last night. He has begun to distance himself from one of Trump’s signature policy plans, and I think is also lining up the bus at Hegseth.

The Oval Office is currently being inhabited by the most vile of humans and a majority of US citizens who were able to vote want them gone. If you cannot see that then it’s a waste of bytes engaging with you.
