Trump administration 2024-2028

That's quite the stretch. Polarizing, sure. Trump was one of the most popular celebrities in the US prior to entering politics. By now, you can't seriously think the massive corrupt and sustained media war against him has had zero impact to the present perceptions. Trump has said and done many things that are divisive, but the media campaign against him has been unprecedented. Winning the information war is a game changer.

Yes, I suggest every president should expect to take significant losses at the mid-term. The historical record demonstrates that to be true. Of course that doesn't wash away the Trump affect (his polarizing behavior), in fact it demonstrates that even with the Trump affect, blue migrations, and media influences, his total losses are remarkably within historical norms.

So you’re not going to publish the CA>TX interstate immigration figures then?

Why don't you if it's something you're hanging onto? Simple googlefoo shows that 1.2 - 1.4 million people migrated from blue states to Texas since 2018. Further google probes "did this have impact on 2026 midterm voting trends" and that answer is yes. Combined with voter discontent, it was enough to turn the state. It's a factor.

Do you really think that it wouldn't have had any impact at all? There is a lot to lay at the feet of Trump, but if you want to be realistic you'd also recognize other contributing factors. But I suppose I'm raining on your celebrations.

Have you considered that instead of all these conspiracies like "blue migration" (You share no convincing proof) maybe Trump just lost because he didn't fulfil his promises and essentially has been a terrible president this term?

I mean he literally saying that Harris would start a war with Iran, but then he did...

He said gas and inflation would keep going up under Democrats, but it went up like crazy under him.

And these are just some of the most obvious reasons....

I mean common man, even JD Vance can see what happened here, go read his most recent X post, Trump has run a terrible two years that have been absolutely nothing like what he ran on.... It's been a completer disaster.

No it's not. There are plenty of successes if you go looking for them. Immigration control being top of mind.

You want to see a disaster? Wait for a democrat socialist house, senate and presidency.... If you think we were treated badly by Trump, watch and shoot.

If you want to ignore the steady rachet to the left by all means, Other examples of the ratchet include New York City now being lead by a Muslim mayor after being home to the single largest terror attack on American soil... by radical Muslim terrorists.

Of course Trump suffered losses in the mid-terms, this was highly predicable. Every president can expect this, add the Trump effect (his perceived performance by at least half the voter population), the migration trends from blue to red states, and the overall ratchet left... this result is not unexpected nor shocking. Almost every mid-term is a punishment to the incumbent.

If you get your dopamine hit by all things negatively impacting Trump - have at 'er.
What, exactly, are you insinuating here. I'd like you to clarify this statement, because at the moment it comes off as nothing other than pure bigotry.

Don't worry, Jared is friends with the state sponsor of 9/11, who also hack up journalists who report on them.

It was your assertion that the midterms were pretty normal. Your Google-Fu puts 1.2-1.4 M ‘blue’ transplants into TX, but you choose 2018 as a start, for some inexplicable reason, even though statistically what’s really at play was the huge TX Red Wave in Nov 24 compared to a Blue Wave 24 months later, a change unprecedented in Texas for close to half a century. You can project all you’d like that things are quite normal, but it’s you making the assertions of normality of the vote yesterday, not anyone else. I just get a chuckle out of how you have yourself totally convinced that everything is just fine…I’ll leave you to your celebration of absolute normalcy with our Southern neighbour.

It's not just the Arms industry.

Its Banking, Social Media, Business capabilities. That CDN ICC Judge has had her complete life up ended. No credit cards, no access to her social media accounts, nothing.
Absolutely; there are also Kafkaesque stories of non-US nationals who ended up on a US no fly list because of a mistaken identity or whatever that gets shared and adopted but had no real recourse to even find out why they were on the list or way to get off the list, and then impacts general security clearance and other aspects that just ruined their life and ability to work.

And that's unintentional impact on an individual, doing it intentionally would shut things down for a while.

Once everyone else has transitioned to their own systems, it would be boycott US products forever though, so they would go from having power and influence to being more or less irrelevant from any measure of soft power.

The overall result of this mid-term is pretty status quo if you look back: Incumbent president loses seats in house and senate. News at 11.

Obviously every Muslim is responsible for 9/11. Particularly this guy who was 10 at the time.
I was in Malaysia November 2001 and those 10 year olds were celebrating the attack and wearing OBL t-shirts and taunting anyone who was white. My Muslim brother-in-law was worried for my safety.
