I don't think there will be a deliberate one. Unless it's by force. The only thing Canadians can unite behind is not being Americans.

Which was, word for word, the PM’s statement on CNN last night. This is probably the right message.

Beyond being outraged at the situation online and changing your profile pictures of "I stand with X", there is nothing average Canadians can do to change any future eventual outcome. Opinions, either way, are utterly meaningless. We will have an election this year, that's the only thing we can control.

Affordable is a debatable concept when Canadians everywhere are complaining about finding "free" doctors. Or houses. Or jobs.

Americans are also complaining about those things, minus the “free”.

That is at least a part of the reason why Trump got in the second time - because “price of eggs” and all that.

This is a discussion forum. We discuss things. Shooting discussion down because “it doesn’t change anything” is silly - why post on a discussion forum if one isn’t planning on discussing anything?
