Trying to understand what flight path they'll take in order to get there. The only real option is through Pak air space. I'd imagine that they'd have to stage out of Pak at first and run helo's first into the place to check the condition of the runway before attempting to land anything there.

Watching the Taliban take over Afghanistan only to allow terrorist groups to start a terror campaign in Pakistan to the point of a Pakistani Afghan war becoming a real possibility has to be one of the bigger cases of what goes around comes around in geopolitics.
