VAC wait times

Positive VRAB appeal middle of March. Still no word or update from VAC and online status still says more information. Emailed VAC and told they have all info and VAC and VRAB separate and that’s it. You would think it would be simple attach a percentage move on to next person

I got told I have to wait for an adjudicator after a positive VRAB appeal.

Forgot - for the review of current claims I was contacted and told it could easily take 8 months. It might be because of the number of claims in my case.

That is the process I was explained too. Was also told going that route expect to wait a year or more for final.

Will I have to say everything for the release in my case went really quiick.

Release 7 Nov. LTD was in my bank in 2 weeks. Pension was on time. Separation adjustment was on mid Dec Pay. End Nov pay hold back was released. Waiting on IRB.

Have a few claims still with VAC as they needed docs that I have now provided hopefully what they need. Requested a review on recommendation from vac agent. Also requested additional pain and suffering on vac agent advise after they reviewed my file.

Overall at least in my case the system seems to have improved a lot although still think the policy could use some work and the amounts paid out seem a bit out there. Basically I am classified as disabled by the government attributable largely to the military service but compensation is small amounts such as $64. Someone I know is getting over $700 while still serving for a single knee claim.

I am still serving, but at 100% Disability. Looking forward to when I Release in a few years so that I can get APSC.
