Video shot by insurgents in Iraq

APTN has obtained video footage shot by insurgents, showing operations carried out against coalition forces in Iraq. One sequence shows someone dressed in black running towards a bridge; seconds later the figure is lost in a cloud of dust caused by an explosion. Who is this person in black?

Looks like someone who might have been attempting to attack the convoy going over the bridge? I guess I‘m wondering did he let off the explosion or did someone shoot at him? Suicide bomber?

Canada is part of the CJTF7 group of non-military contributors. They are not Canadian military. They are people like retired cops who are there training the Iraqi police for CJTF7.

The research was easy. It took me two minutes to Google it after reading your question. You should try it sometime. Beats waiting for someone to give you an answer that may not be right.
