It depends on:
- How much "time served" (referred to as PFTPS, Previous Full Time Paid Service) you are creditted;
- are you doing a straight CT in the same MOC/MOSID; and
- what qualifications do you have that are valid in the Reg Force MOC you are entering.
PFTPS is calculated (IIRC) as your total days on eligible Class B (which was Class B over 90 days continuous when I did it) as "day for day" and 1/4 time for all other Res service time.
Example: You have 1000 days Reserve Service. 200 of those are eligible "day for day" Class B. 800 days are quarter time (Class B under 90 days continuous and Class A days). Your PFTPS should be 400 days. They should calculate your Reserve Service on your CF 10-07 form. I suggest you review it to make sure it is correct, as mine was missing lots of CL B time when I CTd.

It depends. Same trade or different trade? What qualifications do you have? What experience? What is the manning of the trade like in the Reg F? Are there vacancies at that rank level?
