I was just curious what‘s with them?

What all for the physical fitness will I hafto undertake?

And if possible can someone give me a real example of say the math questions are on the apptitude test?

Thanks :) -Jay

the math questions were harder than I expected after reading the sample questions. there is lots of pattern recognition questions. eg. 4,8,5,10,7,14,11...What are the next 3 numbers? I remember there being some multiplication too.

The next 3 numbers are 22, 19, 38 that was to easy. The pattern is 4+4=8-3=5+5=10-3=7 so on and so on. Try another one I love these problems!

A good place to go is http://www.recruiting.forces.gc.ca/html/careers/getting_ready/index.html It has different things you need to know and how to help you. Good Luck :p

Yeah...patterns, i scored a superior on my patterns on my math examination ;D

my point is on the sample questions they give you, the pattern is 1,3,5,7,9...???

I don‘t know what you mean by "stages", perhaps the stages in the recruitment/application process?
In general, you submit your application with all the paperwork. The CFRC gives you a date to write your CFAT test. Usually (but not necessarily) you do the interview, the medical and the interview on the same day. Each one of these is a separate step in the chain. A few weeks later, I was offered a job conditionally. Once you get through that, you‘ll be given a date for the fitness test. If you pass, then you‘ll get a date to be sworn in and a date to enter BMQ.
This may vary from CFRC to CFRC but the general flow is similar. The process can take as little as 3 months to a year depending on circumstances.

For the CFAT (aptitude test)practice, I found this to be a very good link :

I just finished all of my testing 3 days ago.

The first thing to do is all the paperwork, after that there are 4 "stages."

1) Aptitude test - Math, thinking, spacial, blah blah blah. You have to fold many a box back together and answer some math questions. You can be incredibly dumb and still pass this.

2) Interview - They ask you stuff like why you want to join, what your plans are, who you hang out with, what you like to do, etc... They also ask you about drug use.

3) Medical Test - Weight, sight, allergies, grab your twig & cherries, pee in a cup, etc...

4) Physical Test - Do a step test to some mexican childrens polka to test your heart. Have to do some number of sit-ups in a minute and 19 push ups.

Anyway, it‘s all pretty easy as long as you are honest and try hard.
