If only PP could get his security clearance he would be able to unravel this whole influence thing. There's no other MP who can do it, the whole influence thing is actually on his shoulders.
On a side note: perhaps PP could gain some ground if he tackled the Kingfisher fiasco from an adult viewpoint i.e. providing proper equipage and sufficient real a/c to keep the Canadian population safe. If he does it without rancor as in simply acknowledging that a mistake was made and he will ensure that corrective action is taken.
